The Tea Time Fruit Cake is a new member of our cake family. We have had a lot of discussion about making a cake that is lighter than a rich, dark fruit cake - more of an everyday sort of cake. And something that is perfect if someone drops in unexpectedly.
Well here it is. Made with soft light brown sugar, mixed fruit, prunes and cherries and a sprinkle of mixed spice - it has turned out to be divine! We don't think it will be in your cake tin for long.
Like our Chocolate Brownies, we have packaged The Tea Time Fruit Cake in a french made wooden baking mould they look fun and stylish. A lovely gift if you can dare part with one!
