Fruit cake and lashings of lemonade? Sounds like a match made in heaven. Luckily the latter is easy to make yourself (and we know just the place to buy the cake!). Here is the recipe for Milly’s home made lemonade, a firm family favourite here at Simply Delicious HQ.
- 2 x unwaxed lemons, cut into 4
- 140g of white sugar
- 200ml of water
- Sparkling water, to taste
Put the lemons, sugar and water into a liquidiser. Blend together and press through a sieve. Pour the lemon mixture into a jug or glasses and dilute to taste with sparkling water.
