Chopped walnuts, white chocolate, chopped hazelnuts (optional)
1. Melt the chocolate and butter together in the microwave or in a bowl over hot water.
2. Leave to cool and beat the sugar and eggs together until slightly thickened.
3. Add the ground almonds and coffee to the sugar and egg mixture and beat again and then add the chocolate and butter and whisk until all incorporated.
4. Spoon into a 9” (24cm) square tin and bake at 175 degrees for approximately 25 minutes. You can add any chopped nuts, white chocolate chunks or mini eggs (optional) to the mixture before you put them in the oven.
